Yesterday Camilo and I signed a lease for an apartment. I am relieved to have a place to move come September.
























Samir's bike got trapped by the Fremont troll! This was shortly after we ate at a Lebanese shop called Samir's. Needless to say, the owners loved us because of the shared name. At night we went to Fred Meyer last night and bought a ton of bulk grains and tuna.







And I saw a funster gel on a wall!

This morning we struggled to get our very heavy bikes down steep stairs at Allie's apartment. It was drizzling. We rode across Portage Bay along Eastlake to REI. The first leg of the journey was crowded, since all of Seattle is in Fremont this morning for a summer solstice festival.

We will probably put another 15 miles in before sundown (light day), but we need to wait for Camilo and Lukas to arrive from Renton. Our objective today is to all be in the same place.






I used my peace pump mini this morning and it works great! We are getting chilly and hungry outside REI. Now to find some alcohol and cook some food!
